Congratulations to all those who raced in the 2016 Cambridge Town Bumps! Here you can find a selection of photos of (almost) every crew that raced. You can find your photos by following the link to your club's album on Facebook - the links are under the tab, 'Find your photos!' here.
These images are free to share on Facebook and other social media, with one twist - they are being shared in aid of the Cambridgeshire College branch of the Riding for the Disabled Association. This is a charity which provides equestrian activities for young adults with all kinds of physical, sensory and intellectual impairments. Activities range from dressage and showjumping to long-distance endurance rides, horse care and knowledge, musical rides and vaulting (gymnastics on horseback!). Riders come to the Cambs College Group from across Cambridgeshire as it has an excellent history of providing top-quality resources, expert training for riders and volunteers, and opportunities for all of its members to compete at whatever level they feel comfortable.
To discover some of the running costs of an RDA group, please read the page on Donations.
If you share a photo or have just enjoyed reliving your glorious row then please consider donating to the RDA - as much as you feel able. Even 20p will buy quite a few carrots for a clever RDA horse, or some sponges to wash them off after a long summer session.
If you would like any of the images in higher resolution without the watermark then a digital file can be provided for a small further donation (amount discretionary). For more information on this, please see 'Donations'. Please note that I will be away with no internet access for the first two weeks of August.
